About

The Belfast International Ballet Festival aspires to be an annual event that celebrates ballet-focused groups in NI and brings international dance artists and educators to Belfast.

The Festival will feature a week of masterclasses with guest teachers for dancers of all ages, from young people to older adults, in Belfast City Centre. It culminates in three performances including local and international dancers, celebrating Northern Ireland’s diverse ballet community at The MAC Belfast.

The Belfast International Ballet Festival is a celebration of Belfast's cultural vitality and an investment in its future, which envisions a professional ballet company and vocational school here in Northern Ireland. The festival will be a showcase of talent and a hub for creativity, collaboration, and community building. By fostering exchange among local and international dancers and establishing connections with esteemed professionals, this festival is positioned to leave a lasting impact on the artistic landscape of Belfast.

The Belfast International Ballet Festival is hosted by High Points Youth Ballet CIC, the premier youth ballet company of Northern Ireland, with generous support from the Belfast City Council.
